Nino joins GE in august 2013, when Avio Propulsione Aerospaziale is acquired by GE. Prior to GE he has spent his entire career in Avio, where he started working in 1998. He spent his first 5 years in Engineering, starting as reliability engineer and eventually becoming the chief design engineer in a multi-national European defense program. During such appointments he was also the engineering focal point for the enterprise project planning system and he grew an interest in program management that culminated in his PMI certification in 2004. In 2004 he joins the Business Unit taking the leadership of the GEnx programs. He successfully brought the program to certification and into service. In late 2012 he eventually led all the GE P&L line for Avio propulsion Aerospaziale. In 2013 he is appointed vice-president of the Planning and Materials department, leading Customer Coordination, material planning and suppliers fulfillment. After acquisition he becomes the product strategy and P&E leader for the Avio Aero Global Supply Chain. Nino has a degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Politecnico of Torino. He’s married to Nadia and enjoys scuba diving, trekking, travelling, philosophy and literature readings in his spare time.
