E’ Presidente e Amministratore Delegato di Adiacent, azienda del Gruppo SeSa. Laureata in ingegneria elettronica all’Università di Firenze, ha costruito una carriera all’interno di SeSa dal 1998, iniziando come analista programmatore e arrivando a ruoli dirigenziali, gestendo progetti di sviluppo software e soluzioni personalizzate per clienti nazionali e internazionali. Dal 2005, ha guidato l’offerta di soluzioni in ambito web e mobile, stringendo partnership strategiche con IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, e Salesforce.

In qualità di Responsabile delle Relazioni Istituzionali di SeSa, Paola ha rappresentato l’azienda in ruoli di rilievo, tra cui Vicepresidente di Confindustria Firenze e membro della Giunta della Camera di Commercio di Firenze, lavorando per promuovere innovazione e trasferimento tecnologico. Dal 2019 è anche Presidente della Sezione Empolese-Valdelsa di Confindustria Firenze.

Nel 2021 ha fondato e presiede la ITS Academy Prodigi, la prima scuola ITS in Toscana dedicata alla formazione digitale, e collabora con l’Università di Firenze come membro del Comitato di indirizzo delle lauree di Ingegneria, per favorire l’allineamento tra percorsi accademici e mondo aziendale. Paola è membro del board della Fondazione SeSa, attiva in progetti di welfare e sostenibilità, e si impegna nella promozione delle materie STEM per giovani donne, collaborando con il network ValoreD e partecipando a iniziative di mentorship come Women ONBoarding

Is the President and CEO of Adiacent, a company within the SeSa Group. She graduated in electronic engineering from the University of Florence and has built her career within SeSa since 1998, starting as a software analyst and progressing to executive roles, managing software development projects and customized solutions for both national and international clients. Since 2005, she has led the company’s offerings in web and mobile solutions, forging strategic partnerships with IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, and Salesforce.

As Head of Institutional Relations at SeSa, Paola has represented the company in prominent roles, including as Vice President of Confindustria Florence and as a member of the Board of the Florence Chamber of Commerce, working to promote innovation and technology transfer. Since 2019, she has also served as President of the Empoli-Valdelsa Section of Confindustria Florence.

In 2021, she founded and chairs the ITS Academy Prodigi, the first ITS (Higher Technical Institute) in Tuscany dedicated to digital training. She collaborates with the University of Florence as a member of the Steering Committee for Engineering degrees, fostering alignment between academic pathways and the business world. Paola is a board member of the SeSa Foundation, which is active in welfare and sustainability projects, and is committed to promoting STEM fields for young women. She collaborates with the ValoreD network and participates in mentorship initiatives such as Women ONBoarding.
