He started his professi onal career in 1985 in the Finance and Control Department of Procter Gamble Italy where he remained until 1993. After a three year consulting experience at McKinsey Co., during which he worked on various strategic projects, in 19 96 he joined Piaggio as head of Group Planning and Control. In 1999 he arrived at Luxottica Group as Chief Financial Officer and where he remained for 15 years holding positions of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming General Manager and then Co Chief Executive Officer for Corporate Functions.

After this important experience, he joined Yoox Net a Porter fashion retail group with the role of Chief Financial and Corporate Officer. In 2019 he joined the Lavazza Group with the same role. In 2020 he jo ined the Board of Directors of Luigi Lavazza S.p.A., in which he holds the position of executive director.
