Nato nel 1971, l’anno del primo microchip Intel, inizia a programmare in Assembly su un Commodore 64 e si laurea alla Bocconi con una tesi sull’impatto strategico dell’IT. A fine anni ’90 è tra i pionieri della New Economy in Italia, prima come ricercatore e docente in SDA Bocconi e poi come co-fondatore di Steeltrading.com.

Tra il 2002 e il 2010 opera nell’offerta di servizi IT, gestendo progetti complessi in diversi ambiti, dalla logistica alla moda, e fondando insieme ad altri soci una software house specializzata nel settore dei trasporti e della logistica.
Dal 2011, nel ruolo di CIO e CTO, guida la trasformazione digitale di aziende leader in Italia e nel mondo, sviluppando progetti ad alto contenuto innovativo con tecnologie avanzate, come Blockchain e Intelligenza Artificiale.

Born in 1971, the same year the first Intel microchip was introduced, Francesco began programming in Assembly on a Commodore 64 and graduated from Bocconi University with a thesis on the strategic impact of IT. In the late '90s, he was among the pioneers of the New Economy in Italy; first as a researcher and lecturer at SDA Bocconi, and then as a co-founder of Steeltrading.com.

Between 2002 and 2010, he worked in the IT services sector, managing complex projects across various fields, from logistics to fashion. During this period, he also co-founded a software house specializing in the transportation and logistics sectors.
Since 2011, in his roles as CIO and CTO, he has led the digital transformation of industry-leading companies in Italy and worldwide, developing highly innovative projects using advanced technologies like Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.
